Thank you for your interest in making a referral to The Lishon Project. Applications from Primary and Secondary Schools are welcomed to assist families, where children do not have their own bed to sleep in.
Before making a referral please read through these guidelines:
All referral partners must be from a Primary or Secondary school and be known to us prior to applying. If you would like to become a Lishon Project referral partner please contact us by email: info@lishon.co.uk
All referrals must be made by a teaching professional (Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Deputy or Headteacher, Pastoral or Safeguarding lead) working with families who suffer from financial hardship
Consent must be obtained from the child’s parent/carer prior to submitting the referral.
Referrals must be for a child (between the ages of 3-18) attending a school within the LL18 postcode but can be living outwith this postcode.
Referrals can be made for siblings who are not a pupil at the school
Whilst we aim to fulfil each referral in a timely manner, this will be dependent on the volume of applications received and available funding levels
